Chinese cuisine has a long history and is one of the most varied in the world. The dishes can be distinguished by their colour, how they smell, taste and the various forms of the vegetables. During the preparation a lot of thought is put into the detail and nutritional value of the ingredients as well as the cooking temperature.
The food served varies greatly in the north and the south. Eating with chopsticks is a big chanllenge initially, however with a bit of practice it is even possible to eat rice with them. In China eating a meal together is a very important occasion.
