Málaga, is the fifth biggest city in Spain (approx. 600 000 inhabitants) and the birth place of Picasso. It has been spared from the masses of tourists despite its many attractions.
Over 300 days of sunshine per year and a very blue ocean, the charm of the promenades, and park facilities with over 2 000 different species of plants and flowers, the attractive streets and the open mindedness of the locals, are just a few of the reasons why Málaga is an ideal place to study and relax – and in the middle of August, the "Feria de Agosto" transforms Málaga to a massive folk festival for a whole week.
Well known cities sharing the same culture such as Sevilla, Granada and Córdoba are easy to reach with the new highway quickly and comfortably.
