Madrid, the capital city of Spain, is situated in the center of the country and is a unique culture and business metropole. Many famous museums – Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen – that you shouldn't miss, and many just as impressive churches, theaters, cinemas and sport centers in this vibrating city. In contrast, it is pleasant in September and October, when the Autumn festival takes place with concerts, theaters and dance shows. Around the 15 May , is the San Isidro Festival, which is a display of Bullfighting, with many big stages on the Plaza Mayor, with music and a unique atmosphere.
The 3.5 million locals speak an accent free Spainish and are very proud of their city – their saying proves this: «de Madrid al cielo» – only heaven is better!

The Barrio de Salamanca (Salamanca quarter) is without doubt the best shopping area in the city. Closeby you will find many restaurants, pubs, bars, shops and lots of activity. As far as culture goes, Madrid is home to many famous museums, these are grouped around the most famous am Paseo de Prado. There are about twenty theaters, many cinemas, concert halls, galeries, exhibitions... Madrid is a city in which you can ENJOY life.
