With a population of 90,000 inhabitants, Jersey is the biggest and best known of the five Channel Islands. It is located only a few kilometres from the French coast. The French influence is also noticeable in the many French town names. Jersey is a popular beach resort because due to the Gulf Stream there is also a bland climate in spring and autumn and a lush variety of flowers and plants can flourish.

You can travel to Jersey by either taking the ferry from St. Malo (France) or the plane via London.
