Bray is located approximately twenty kilometres south of Dublin and is not only known as the «Gateway to Wicklow» but also as one of the oldest coastal cities of Ireland. With its 1.6 kilometres long sandy beach this bathing resort will also tempt you to swim and stroll. The Bray Head (241 above sea level) is located at the end of the beach, from where you get a beautiful view on the sea and the city. Since its formation in 1838, Bray has become a lively city. Especially hikers and nature lovers are attracted by Bray because of the many interesting trails and walks.
