Perth is a very dynamic city, possessing both modern and historical architecture. It offers an outstanding quality of life, with rather a mild climate. The average temperature is 25°C in summer and 18°C in winter, and it enjoys 8 hours of sunshine every day.
In Perth there are many parks, cultural events, excellent shopping facilities, as well as inexpensive and excellant restaurants.
It's also a paradise for sport fanatics, as all kind of sports can be played, at a very low, or reasonable fee.
The closest beach is 20 minutes away from the centre of the city, and more beautiful and lonely beaches can be found along the coast.
Fremantle, the main Port of Western Australia, has developed into a multicultural and very charming city, and the streets with its many bars and restaurants are full of life at night.
Situated in Australia's largest State, it is the ideal starting point to explore the spectacular Outback, the fascinating national parks with unique fauna, and the many rock formations along the endless coastal line.
