The region

«Pearl of the Swiss Riviera» – that's what the tourists call the region around Montreux. A range of mountains protects the area from fog and the cold north wind, giving the region a mild climate. This dynamic city attracts many tourists to the Genfersee annually, where many sport and musical activities take place. Regular tournaments, markets and concerts are organised. Surrounding the city you will find many vineyards in which you can sample wine before you buy.
